  3. A roadshow to showcase the library services and activities of the Public Libraries Singapore?

The PLS is very "happening" these days (a GenX lingo I borrowed from my son : )

During my time, the mobile library with books in a van which visit schools and villages in the rural areas of Singapore was considered an innovative concept for the library to reach the village folks.

Now we have "Books In The City: Public Libraries Roadshow"......providing on-the-spot registration for new members and access to eResources. WOW !!!

Lots of creative 'ideas people' at the public libraries to promote library awareness to the public with these events.

At the "50 Plus Expo 2008" at Suntec City last year, NLB also had a booth stacked with a special selection of books for senior citizens.

Like they say..."If the mountain does not come to Mohammed, Mohammed goes to the mountain"...

Great job! Please keep it up.
