Oh, nowadays I end my blogging/ wiki workshops by showing participants a picture of a bicycle. Then tell them that the workshop is like showing them how to ride a bicycle. But ultimately, they decide where they wanna go to.Ivan Chewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02727226573817276108noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424038.post-36422074943789786442010-10-04T01:37:39.078+08:002010-10-04T01:37:39.078+08:00I've tried to teach a few classes on blogging,...I've tried to teach a few classes on blogging, and found it quite frustrating. The key is people have to have something to say, personal or professional, and most don't. Today is my 7th blogiversary. I have 12 blogs. Finding something to write is like writing home to mom and dad--the more you do it, the more you have to say.Normahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11502895616873273470noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424038.post-41793861788199486052010-10-03T18:08:17.444+08:002010-10-03T18:08:17.444+08:00I'm looking forward to TNAGS doing just that, ...I'm looking forward to TNAGS doing just that, Walter!Ivan Chewhttp://ramblinglibrarian.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7424038.post-21912561301138483892010-10-03T08:25:08.836+08:002010-10-03T08:25:08.836+08:00Agree wholeheartedly that devices, platforms and a...Agree wholeheartedly that devices, platforms and applications are merely tools and means to an end. The critical shortage is in producing engaging content that is either created (block by block) or meaningfully curated (by a trusted tastemaker). I honestly feel libraries in Singapore have done a lot in this space and it is time for museums and art galleries (notably mine) to up the ante. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15583607062793779274noreply@blogger.com
